Q: How do I care for my tattoo?

A: I have been using Tagaderm or Saniderm bandages to heal tattoos. Other options are available if you have an adhesive allergy. Typically I have the client leave the bandage on for 3 to 4 days. You can shower with the bandage without worry. On the last day get in the shower, let warm water soften the bandage, and peel the bandage off. Wash the tattoo until it doesn’t feel slippery. Soft soap like Dial or Dr. Bronner’s is ideal to wash your tattoo with. Beyond this you want to avoid soaking it until all scabs are gone. No medication is necessary. Just apply a water based / fragrance free lotion like Lubriderm or CetiPhil are recommended when itchy Or dry, but not until all scabs are gone.

Q: How do I commission an illustration or painting?

A: Digital starts at $250, Paintings start at $500. Contact me for more details. jeradshealey@gmail.com
